On 18 July, we officially inaugurated our new MAGSYS building in the industrial area of Dortmund-Huckarde. Under a clear sunny sky, the friends of the MAGSYS Family enjoyed the broad music repertoire of the famous Jazz saxophonist Gilda Razani accompanied by Hans Wanning playing on the rooftop.

During a tour through the building the visitors got a clear idea of how we work at MAGSYS: from construction via production to delivery of our magnetizing systems.

The large production and storage space which are available now allow a smooth-running production of our systems and devices. At the same time, the optimum transport connexion solves many logistic problems.

The new building which we moved to already in November 2002 gains more and more ambiance. Finally, we finished the design of the outside facilities which offer an interesting contrast to the rust-colored industrial scenery with the former coking plant Hansa and the derrick of the old pit area in Dortmund-Huckarde.

Inside the building, we also set innovative and creative emphases.
By the help of the Dortmund object artist and designer Andi Knappe we succeeded in breathing life to the white walls of the building.

After the turbulent days of the removal we are more than happy to be free from spatial bondage and to give our undivided attention to solve the tasks of our customers.
